On Sunday, January 25, 2015, at 2:13 p.m. the Notre Dame College Police Department notified students, faculty and staff of an attempted burglary that occurred in South Hall.
Chief of Police Jeffrey Scott released the following statement:
“At an undetermined time between 10:00 pm on January 24, 2015 and 10:00 am on January 25, 2015, person(s) allegedly attempted to enter a locked door by prying on the door mechanism and caused severe damage while doing so, however, their attempts to enter were to no avail.”
The Notre Dame College Police Department urges students, faculty and staff to secure their residence hall rooms and office areas to ensure that valuables are protected.
