So graduation is at my heels and I have realized that there are so many things that I thought I would have accomplished by the time I left Notre Dame College. Except, I haven’t accomplished many of them at all…
Here are a few of the things on my list:
Dye my hair pink or purple. I chose pink, and it was awful. I kept it for approximately 24 hours before I decided I couldn’t take it any longer.
Go on a road trip. I want to go to Vegas. That would be both amazing and incredibly expensive.
Apply to my dream job. I’ve realized that applying for any job AFTER I have a degree would be a much better choice.
Donate blood. I have always been horrified of needles and free chipotle just has not been worth it thus far.
Learn another language. I actually tried to complete this one but it turns out that I am really bad at Spanish. I made it to Spanish II. Maybe I’ll try Italian…
Learn an instrument. My first big purchase in life was a guitar when I was 13. Her name was Tammy and she has not been touched since then. I tried teaching myself with tutorial videos but I quickly realized that it is not nearly as easy as it looks. And it really hurts your fingers.
Throw a party. I always thought it would be cool to throw some sort of themed party but my roommates do not condone parties and neither does my landlord.
Karaoke. I actually did this. It was mortifying, but hilarious.
Study Abroad. I would love to travel. If I had all the money in the world that is what I would do with it. Rome, Paris, Costa Rica…
My plan is to complete at least 5 more of these items before I graduate. If I don’t then I’ll have a few things to look forward to afterwards.
